JAMB Reopens Portal for O’Level Result Upload 2026 Admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially reopened its portal for uploading and re-uploading O’Level results for the 2026/2027 UTME and Direct Entry admission process. This update follows a temporary suspension aimed at resolving technical discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy across the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Uploading your O’Level results is a mandatory stepin the admission process. Without it, institutions cannot verify your academic qualifications, and your application may be rejected even if you meet the cut-off mark.

Why This Update Matters

  • Admission Eligibility: Your WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results must be uploaded to CAPS before institutions can process your admission.
  • Technical Integrity: The reactivation ensures that previously reported errors and mismatches are resolved, improving the reliability of the admission system.
  • Timely Access: Candidates are advised to upload their results early to avoid last-minute issues or delays in admission processing.

How to Upload Your O’Level Results to JAMB CAPS

There are two official methods for uploading your results:

1. Via Accredited JAMB CBT Centres

  • Visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
  • Provide your JAMB registration number and a clear copy of your O’Level result.
  • Pay the processing fee (usually ₦700).
  • The operator will verify and upload your result into your CAPS profile.

2. Through JAMB e-Facility Portal (Self-Service)

  • Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng
  • Log in with your JAMB registration number or email and password.
  • Navigate to “Upload O’Level Result” on your dashboard.
  • Select your exam year and type (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
  • Upload a scanned copy of your result (JPEG/PNG, max 50KB).
  • Pay a ₦500 processing fee online.
  • Confirm that your upload was successful.

What to Do After Uploading

  • Verify Your Upload: Log into CAPS and check the “My O’Level Result” section to confirm that your subjects and grades are correctly displayed.
  • Correct Errors Promptly: If your result is missing or incomplete, revisit the CBT centre to correct it.
  • Monitor Admission Status: Once your result is uploaded, institutions can begin processing your admission. Keep checking CAPS for updates.
